Garnet Wheaton

Garnet lives in Berwick, Nova Scotia and has 4 adult children and 13 grandchildren. Three of his children and 9 grandchildren live in the USA.

Garnet operates the Wheatons Stores, with 6 locations in the Maritimes and also has a small furniture plant producing solid wood furniture that is sold in the Wheaton stores.

Garnet has been active in the Gideons/ShareWord Global ministry for over 45 years, serving in various leadership roles at the chapter, provincial, and national levels. Garnet is the Board Chair of the new SWG USA ministry.

He has played a lead role in developing the ShareWord Global ministry in Nicaragua and Cuba.

Garnet considers it a privilege to serve the membership of ShareWord Global and is committed to seeing the ministry advance its mission of mobilizing believers to see individuals, families, communities, and countries transformed by the power of the gospel.
